K9 Stride Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

• You must provide accurate, current information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at info@k9stride.co.uk if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

K9 Stride provides an app for tracking and displaying your dog's activity and performance data. Features, availability, and content may change over time, and we may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion.

Not professional advice. K9 Stride is not a substitute for advice from a veterinarian, veterinary physiotherapist, dog trainer, canine coach, or any other registered dog advisory professional. We do not see, examine, or assess your dog in person, and all performance data, insights, or recommendations provided through the app are for general informational purposes only, based solely on the data you provide or the app records. Always consult a suitably qualified professional who can personally assess your dog before making decisions about its health, training, rehabilitation, or wellbeing.

• Certain features require a paid subscription. Current pricing is shown in the app at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
• You can cancel anytime through your account settings or app store subscription controls; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refunds, if offered, will be handled per the policy of the app store (Apple App Store / Google Play) through which you subscribed, or as otherwise stated at checkout.
• We may change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment processors; you agree to their applicable terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Upload false, misleading, or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation (e.g., malware, excessive automated requests)
• Use the Service to harm or endanger any animal

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., your dog's profile, photos, notes). By submitting content, you grant K9 Stride a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload.

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and branding, is owned by K9 Stride Ltd or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes, no rights are granted to you.

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., app stores, payment processors, wearable devices). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third parties, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Performance metrics and insights are estimates based on available data and should not be relied on as a substitute for the professional judgment of a veterinarian, veterinary physiotherapist, trainer, coach, or other registered dog advisory professional who has personally assessed your dog.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, K9 Stride Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless K9 Stride Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) with reasonable notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app or email before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those laws.

Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable local law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.
